Job Description:

As a Powerline Technician at CSI Powerline, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical power systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing powerlines and related equipment while adhering to safety standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install and connect powerlines, transformers, and related equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of powerlines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent outages.
• Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in powerlines and electrical systems promptly to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate activities and address any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical systems or powerline maintenance preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Powerline Technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, powerline installation, and repair techniques; proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Electrical Journeyman, OSHA certification) preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
